2/5ths of Cast of Dads at Intel Upgrade Your Life 2011 Event

Chatting With Ford at the 2011 NY International Auto Show

Ford Booth - NY Auto Show

The Cast of Dads were asked by Ford and Sony to attend the latest auto show in NYC and of course since they paid our way there and gave us access we wanted to chat with members of their team to highlight what they had going on at the show.

As you can see were lucky enough to gain access to a variety of senior members from the Ford Team and thank you to all of them for taking time out of their busy schedules to chat with us. We hope it also shows you how much fun branded content can be. Watch it now.

During the day, we also did a live episode of Cast of Dads and had our buddy (and fellow Dad) Scott Monty join us for the show. You can watch the recording of it (starts at about a minute) in case you missed it when it streamed live.

A huge thank you to everyone at Sony, Ford and their agencies who stepped up and tried to bring us all together. We hope all this content we produced can highlight just what we could do for your event as well. We are only an e-mail away and we are still looking for the first brand that can bring all five of us together.

Disclosure: Ford & Sony covered travel expenses and gave us press access to the auto show.
We were provided with a Ford vehicle to drive from Boston to New York.
All thoughts, words and anything else we say is totally our own opinions.

Coffee With Sukhjit

One of the best parts of getting to go to the NY Auto Show was getting to spend some time with our good friend Sukhjit Ghag from Sony.

We’ve known each other for a while now, but our paths usually only cross during the midst of a large conference so just sitting down and catching up is hard. But, we made a point to grab some coffee and just sit down to discuss technology trends, business and life. We figured since other people might enjoy seeing it that we’d video tape the whole thing and share it with you.

You can also download this video.

Tons of topics covered and the typical Cast of Dads silliness to boot. Enjoy!

Family Road Trips

The Cast of Dads would like to give a huge thank you to the teams at Ford and Sony who tried to be the first brands to get all of us together.

Schedules and life got in the way of making it happen, but Brad, Jeff & C.C. (and Danny from the DadLabs team) were supplied with a 2011 Ford Explorer and tickets to the New York International Auto Show.

2011 Ford Explorer

We produced a large amount of content both during our drive from Boston to New York as well as during the show and we’ll be pushing it out in the coming days. You can also check out Jeff’s photos and C.C.’s photos from the event as well.

During the drive we got discussing how road trips have changed since we were kids and shared stories both new and old about memories we have shared and how technology changes everything. Enjoy!

Cast of Dads is a group of podcasting and blogging dads who gather to gab about fatherhood. The cast of dads includes C.C. Chapman, Jeffrey Sass, Max Kalehoff, Michael Sheehan, and Brad Powell, who collectively represent 13 kids from the youngest of babies to full grown adults. Each of them brings a unique perspective to being a father.

3/5th Cast of Dads Video at SXSW 2011

Once again a section of our fabulous group was able to get together while in Austin, TX for SXSW and we figured why not film a video!

We are holding out hope that one day a brand will step up and bring us all together for the first time ever, but until then you’ll have to be entertained by Brad, Jeff & C.C. talking about what is on their mind in a local Austin coffee shop (that also happens to sell beer).
